Thoughts & Journaling During "Project Elevate" (Spring 2022)

Thank you ladies. Over the past week or two I have had a lot of time to think (given the fact that I cannot do much right now with my injured knee and recovering shoulder)... Thank you for being so supportive and understanding. It really is a hard situation for me- not only being immobile and painful, but also because during my programs I get so inspired, so amped, just to be in the grind right there with you.

You all have kept me mentally afloat and I am very grateful to have you in the mornings to kick off the day with all of your hard work. It truly makes me so happy. PLEASE keep persevering- I look at you all and I already see huge changes in your bodies and MINDS. This is not the time to stray from your program- but to keep elevating. Stay strong. We are almost to week 4, which is crazy... keep PUSHING... stay ON TRACK.

Something that comes to MY mind over and over again is "Do it 'Now' because sometimes 'Later' becomes 'Never'." Doing something now because sometimes 'I'll just do it later' turns into not being able to do it at all... you get sick ... you get bucked off of a horse ... you twist your ankle ... you have an emergency that comes up in your schedule... life is a tricky game, and you cannot ever predict what the future will hold. All you have is now, today, the present... do what is required of you- do not take it for granted.

I do a lot of reading. Recently I came across these questions and would like to share them with you. I like to journal and feel that these questions are worthy of writing on paper (to really help yourself be introspective when answering).

  1. What, and who, is worth suffering for?

  2. What would you stand for if you knew that nobody would judge you?

  3. What would you do if you knew that nobody would judge you?

  4. Based on your daily routines, where will you be in five years? Ten? Twenty?

  5. Whom do you admire most, and why?

  6. What do you not want anybody else to know about you?

  7. What are a few things you thought you would never get over while you were going through them? Why did they seem so insurmountable? How did you?

  8. What are your greatest accomplishments so far?

  9. What would be too good to believe if someone were to sit down and tell you what's coming next in your life?

  10. Who from your past are you still trying to earn the acceptance of?

  11. If you didn't have to work anymore, what would you do with your days?

  12. What are the five most common things in your daily routine aside from the basics such as eating and sleeping?

  13. What do you wish those five most common things were instead?

  14. If you really believed you didn't have control over something, you'd accept it as a matter of fact. What do you struggle to accept that you have "no control" over? What part of you makes you think or hope otherwise?

  15. If you were to walk through your home and put your hand on every single thing you own, how many of them would you sincerely feel happy or at peace? Why do you keep the rest?

  16. What bothers you most about other people? What do you love most in other people? What bothers you most about yourself? What do you love most about yourself? (Dig until you see the correlation).

I will see you all tomorrow.
